LG Android

The V40 ThinQ is the next flagship that LG is unveiling sometime around November. We already saw the first press renders, revealing the horizontal triple camera setup on the back, but no measurements whatsoever.

Thanks to latest CAD-based renders, we know the screen diagonal and the overall device size. We also get to see the phone with the infamous notch, sneakily hidden in the press renders from last week.

The LG V40 ThinQ will come as a successor of the V35 ThinQ with Snapdragon 845. It will have a 6.3” screen with QHD+ resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels. The dimensions of the device are 158.8 x 75.8 x 7.8 mm, with the 8.2 mm camera setup included.

The triple camera setup on the back will have one primary sensor, an ultra wide-angle lens, as is tradition, and hopefully, the third camera will be telephoto. The module specs are yet to be confirmed, but it looks like the V40 ThinQ is following the P20 Pro and the Oppo R17 Pro in the three-cam trend.

The notch has room for two selfie shooters and an earpiece. We also see a 3.5 mm audio jack next to the USB-C and the speaker grill on the bottom. The front and back are likely to come with a Gorilla Glass over them and hopefully, it will be the latest sixth generation. We also see a button below the volume rocker on the left side that will likely be for Google Assistant, just like the LG G7 ThinQ.

Yeah, I agree with you removing the headphone jack is which is stupid. At the end of the day, Face ID is more secure than any Android's face unlcoking implementation. I just don't like Android OEMs is heading, they are better than this. I bet you App...

Did I ever said Apple designs was game changing innovation? Yikes, the fanboyism in your statements is starting to show. It’s funny how you can’t even admit that these Android companies is following what is doing. Which I hate btw! At least Apple has...
