LG Android Google

Soon, the LG V30 and LG G6 will be enrolled in Google’s Android Enterprise Recommended program, right after they receive the Android 8.1 update. This program is for large businesses who want to easily and securely deploy a large number of company phones.

The phones are guaranteed to receive security updates every 90 days. They also features LG GATE (Guarded Access To Enterprise), which encompasses – platform, application and network security plus mobile device management (MDM).

On the software side, there’s support for Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, Data Encryption and VPN. LG has partnered with leading MDM providers to make the life of an IT manager easier.

The LG V30 also enjoys the “second year promise” - free limited warranty for the second year (normally in the US you get only one year).

US only get one year's warranty on high-value electrical items? Ouch. UK you get 2 as standard; 6 if you can prove the item was faulty when you came into ownership of it (massively loophole-able). Consumer Rights Act 2015
