LG G6 to be released on March 10, Samsung Galaxy S8 confirmed for April 21

LG Samsung Rumors Android

It's long been rumored (on quite a few occasions) that Samsung will make the much anticipated Galaxy S8 and S8+ official at an event in New York on March 29, with the new flagships' release date being April 21, at least for markets other than South Korea.

And today a new report from the company's home country comes to confirm those dates, with one important difference. Whereas it's said that Samsung initially wanted to launch the Galaxy S8 in Korea a week earlier than the global release date of April 21, it's now decided against that. As such, both the S8 and S8+ are set to go on sale worldwide on April 21. This has allegedly been done "in order to have stable supplies" of the devices for the flagship-hungry masses.

On the other hand, LG has been assumed to try and out its G6 as soon as possible, so that it has quite a long period where it's on the market undisturbed by competition from the S8 duo. At one point however we heard that the G6 would only launch in the US on April 7, thus giving it just a couple of weeks before Samsung's competitors would arrive. That could still be the case, but in South Korea LG is expected to release the G6 on March 10, following its introduction at Mobile World Congress this Sunday.

Pre-orders for the G6 will be taken starting on March 2. Samsung hasn't yet decided when to start taking pre-orders for the Galaxy S8, apparently, though judging by what it's done in the past that could happen on April 13.

Better ram management. Like I said the initial Oneplus firmware was full of bugs. Honestly just look oneplus 3 tests from August 2016 onwards, it's not even close. And again it's not due to optimization as the rest of 6GB phones show a similar ...

It's because the One Plus 3 had a more aggressive memory management scheme in place... And it also helped save battery charge.

Samsung too was using 4GB of RAM if one plus was using 4GB. Then why S7 was able to keep Asphalt 8 in memory while the one plus couldn't?
