While cleaning home, found this in a shelf. Nostalgic feeling about using this 1st 4G mobile. Charged and found battery is very good. But touch is not working. Might be some strip problem. Have to disassemble and check for loose contacts.

i boot this up today.. same battery issue (drain very fast) like u guys & screen issues (touch only working in the corners, discoloured yellow, etc)
gonna try scrcpy/windows phone link later..

Kostasliat, 26 Sep 2023I have been facing this battery draining issue for a long time now, I really don't know w... morer u still using this phone .. how this phone is even alive being launched 7.5 years ago. I also had this phone. I bought it for like 10-11k. I was facing some issues like
1) BATTERY: At the time of charging, it literally took 20 min. just to go from 95-100%. And about draining, it get drains out pretty fast. Like it would take only 2 hrs to go from 100-40 when I'm just using only Social Media. From 40-30, I don't know how but it took literally half an hour to go from 40-30. And then from 30-20 like literally 2min. and then 20-2% was the longest like "an hour".
So, in total it will run 4 hrs max after 2 years of usage.
2. HARDWARE:
i) Fingerprint: 2 times the fingerprint scanner wasn't working and then automatically starts working again (without even need to repair). 1st time it went off for a week and 2nd time, for a month or two.
ii) Volume Button: after 2 years of usage, it stopped working. I got it repaired. And again after 1 year of usage, it stopped working again.
3) STORAGE PROBLEM: After 2 years (ie, in 2019), my Internal storage of 32gb got full. And it stopped letting me access my internal storage. It said "if you need to continue use your internal storage, you have to format it". But I didn't want to cuz of so many pictures and videos of my college days and friends was in there, How could I format it. And even the internal wasn't full, it was almost full. I mean it has still 1 or 2 gb left. But still this godamn phone won't let me use it. I went to the store, they said they are sorry but they won't be able to help me. So, after putting a boulder on my chest, I format my internal storage.
From next time, I started collecting all the memories on my external storage of 32GB. And after 1 year same thing happened again, this time I thought to try and put it in card reader and fix it through my computer, but even through card reader I was unable to access it. So, I went to the store and they said well you can format it and recover all the data through a software which helps to find the lost data in the hard disks. So, I did that. I was positive this time. I thought that this time I won't loose my data. But after formatting, I was unable to recover it as I found out the software only helps to recover the deleted data (as there was no recycle bin options in low end phones that time).
4) There was a time when the phone stopped working like the screen wouldn't even go ON.
I think after all these incidents, a normal person would act angrily and would have smashed that phone into million pieces. But I didn't did it. Don't know why.
After 6 more months, I finally bought a new phone. And forgot to use this phone for 10 days. After 10 days, I put this old phone in my hand only to find out that it was dead. For GOOD.
But let me tell u, at this range other company's phones were doing good at that time. Like my brother had a Redmi Note 4 for 10k (Let's name this phone as A phone). And to this date that A phone is going well with only , except one problem that it had calling issues. My father also bought a Redmi only to find out another calling issue in 2 phones out of 5 smartphones at our home, both are from Redmi. So, now we all switched to another brand. Guess which one?

I have been facing this battery draining issue for a long time now, I really don't know what is going on with the device. During normal use, battery dies pretty fast eg from 90% to 20% in a couple minutes. Anyone with a good solution to that?

Used this phone till March 2019 for 3 years. It was in good condition but the battery was dying quickly added to my high calls usage at work. It had a decent camera for that time and it never use to hang.

Bought this phone for my mom when it was released. Overall good phone with good price (at the time). After 2 years of usage, had to sell it because the storage could no longer keep up with the size of the apps (it was a shame i didn't buy the 32 gb option). The stereo front firing speakers were amazing and even though stereo firing speakers disappeared from entry to mid range level smartphones for a few years, i'm glad they're back. The camera department is a different story, sucks so bad.

Really good phone in that year with support 4G & NFC and also with 3 GB Ram.. and of course best sound stereo.. until now (2021) i still use it and never had a serious problem, except battery i had change 2 times..
