Thats whole different chipset,diff screen,different memory, diff port version. By that standards,every tab is a version of this.

I bought it but it has only one big problem, the cpu frequency is activated to the maximum every time I touch the screen, press the keyboard or draw, and I do not know what to do because it consumes the battery more than expected and heats up considerably.

My advice is not to buy this tablet. It says that it supports 3k, but when you play a video in 4k resolution, there is image interruption. Other than that, the refresh rate is 60 and the brightness rate is 400 nits I don't know about the Chinese version, but I think it's better than the p12.

Anonymous, 05 Oct 2024Thanks for the heads-up. Saved me a lot of trouble and some money. I value the screen quality ... moreNo problem. LTPS isn't the worst type of screen at all, but because you are looking at it all day. It definitely is important. A family member of mine ended up getting this tablet and they are very happy with it. The screen is quite bright (indoors) and does the job well. The viewing angles are definitely not IPS but it is not at all as bad as TFT which looks negative or black at odd angles. Instead this screen just gets a bit blurry and hard to see.
It would have been great if they had thrown an IPS screen on it and then just increased the price by $50 bucks.

It may be inferior, relatively speaking, in terms of for example japan, europe... But in terms of of African countries it is relatively resonablly good quality that satisfies the purpose above average. Superior quality is also available and those who can afford it procure it. Hence it is product mix of offer. With this strategy it makes products reachable to the broad public. The bottom line is you get what you pay for. Therefore it is incorrect to bluntly state that China sells inferior good to Africa.

I have the chinese version of this tablet (Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2023), some differences are:
144 Hz IPS LCD display (not LTPS like Tab P12); UFS 3.1; Type-C USB (OTG) 3.2 port; and Snapdragon 870 CPU with 8 GB RAM (LPDDR5).
