Lenovo Windows Gaming Rumors

The Legion Go was Lenovo’s first Windows handheld gaming PC and it launched with formidable specs including a 144Hz QHD+ screen, AMD’s Ryzen Z1 series chipsets and detachable controllers. It’s been over a year since the Legion Go made its debut, and we are now getting our first set of details on the second entry in the Legion Go series: the Legion Go S.

The device was spotted by Windows Central in a set of official renders revealing a more mainstream design in line with the ROG Ally and Steam Deck. The detachable controllers are gone and as per the source, the display may be smaller than the one on the Legion Go.

We can also spot the 18-button configuration with your standard ABXY buttons on the right, dual joysticks with RGB lighting, a D-pad and a nub, which looks similar to TrackPoint on Lenovo laptops. Legion Go S also features dual front-facing speakers, rear-facing fans and dual USB-C ports – both located on the top side of the device.

As per the latest leaks, Legion Go S will be equipped with AMD’s Ryzen Z2 chipset (Rembrandt) featuring Zen 3-plus cores that are a step below the Z1 Extreme chip and its Zen 4 cores found in the Legion Go and ROG Ally.

The new leak also suggests the Legion Go S will be priced in the $399-449 range, which is a notable decrease from the $699/€799 starting price of the Legion Go.
