Apple is introducing the iPhone 15 phones on September 12, and now we learned from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo that most of the production issues are fixed. They also shared their expectations of colors – the two iPhone 15 Pro versions will be available in gray, white, black, and blue, while the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will sell in black, pink, yellow, blue, and green.

Issues with stacked CIS, panels, and batteries might have been fixed but the iPhone 15 Pro Max is still arriving last. Kuo revealed the project kicked in late, so mass production schedule lags behind the other models.

The stacked CIS issue has been resolved by increasing production capacity, although up to 15% of iPhone 15 and 15 Plus shipments might be affected. The battery and frame issues were fixed the same way – the plants just started working harder than ever.

The iPhone 15's new USB-C connector might support the Thunderbolt standard

The cancellation of the virtual button design in the previous quarter led to challenging production windows for the titanium frame, but now, as this was cleared, predictions are the phone will be lighter because Apple is moving away from an aluminum frame.

The display issue was quoted to be fixed by “changing the supplier shipment ratio”, and we know from previous reports Samsung got the bulk of orders while BOE was sent back to the drawing board to fix a light bleed issue affected by faulty architecture of the panel and its driver.

Hope the lighter version will come with Android go edition for best smoothest possible experience. Laggy buggy IOS is just obsolette.

You're right, but you have to admit the leak/speculation culture has taken all of the fun and excitement out of new devices - we know everything there is to know months in advance. For example, I wish I had never heard a thing about iPhone X bef...

That's not always the case. There will be some software stuff that Apple is surprising us with. Leaks didn't say that iPhone 14 Pro would be able to zoom 2x in great clarity, did they?
