iQOO will launch the iQOO Z9s and iQOO Z9s Pro on August 21 in India. iQOO hasn't detailed the Z9s and Z9s Pro's specs sheets yet, but today the brand revealed the key specs of both phones and said they are designed for young multi-taskers, "primarily college students and young professionals who are balancing work/academics, social life, and extracurricular activities and their need for fast connectivity and seamless entertainment."
iQOO Z9s Pro with iQOO Z9sThe iQOO Z9s Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, while the iQOO Z9s will have the Dimensity 7300 chip at the helm. Both smartphones will feature a 50MP Sony IMX882 camera with OIS, 4K recording, and Super Night Mode. They will also come with the AI Erase and AI Photo Enhance features, with the Z9s Pro also sporting an 8MP ultrawide unit.
iQOO Z9s Pro with iQOO Z9siQOO also said that the Z9s series will be 7.49mm thin and pack a 3D curved AMOLED display. The Z9s' screen will have a local peak brightness of 1,800 nits while the Z9s Pro's panel will have a 4,500 nits local peak brightness.
iQOO Z9s ProThe iQOO Z9s Pro will be fueled by a 5,500 mAh battery, and both smartphones will be manufactured at vivo's Greater Noida facility in India as a part of the brand's commitment to the Indian government's "Make in India" campaign.
iQOO didn't reveal the Z9s and Z9s Pro's prices, but the press note we received suggests both phones will be priced under INR25,000 ($300/€275) in India.
In other news, Vivo V40e is closing on launch with spotting on Bluetooth SIG certification. Specs are 7s Gen 2, 6000mAh Battery & Sadly No Charger 😭. Expected to launch along with V40 Series in India but I don't think it will happen that way...
