iQOO Pad leaked image confirms similarities to vivo Pad2

vivo iQOO Android

vivo brand iQOO will launch its first tablet on May 23, and the company confirmed it will have a 12.1” screen and will run on a Dimensity 9000+ SoC. We speculated it might be a vivo Pad2 with a different chipset, and we now got some further confirmation of this.

The iQOO Pad appeared in a live photo right next to a vivo Pad2, revealing identical design and OriginOS 3 platform. The tablet also clearly works with vivo’s cover keyboard and stylus.

The image also reveals the memory configuration of the tablet - it will come with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB internal storage. Since the vivo-branded slate does not have a microSD slot, the iQOO variant is also unlikely to offer memory expansion.

The tablet should come with a massive 10,000 mAh battery, 44W wired charging, and 5W reverse wired charging. Other specs include a 13 MP camera on the back and an 8 MP front-facing shooter for video calls.

The 12/512 GB model of the vivo Pad2 arrived last month for CNY3,399 (about $500), but the iQOO Pad might aim to undercut it.

What would be the major difference between the two if they are identical between each other? If the iQOO runs on Funtouch OS, it can be a Global international version of the Vivo Pad2, but it doesn't.
