iQOO has announced its partnership with BMW M Motorsport for the 2020 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) season, meaning we may see the company unveil an iQOO 5 BMW special edition on August 17 alongside the regular model.

The iQOO 5 coming on August 17 will be the first smartphone from the company to support 120W fast charging, which fills a 4,000 mAh battery from flat to 100% in just 15 minutes.

iQOO hasn't revealed the entire specs sheet of the iQOO 5 yet, but it did confirm that the smartphone will pack an AMOLED display with 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage and 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it will have the Snapdragon 865 SoC paired with LPDDR5 RAM.

We expect iQOO to confirm more features of the iQOO 5 in the days leading to the official unveiling.
