iQOO 8 rumored to bring 160W flash charging
There’s been a few teasers circulating around the upcoming iQOO 8 lately. The phone is expected to launch on August 4 as the first Snapdragon 888 Plus powered device on the market and now we’re hearing rumors it could also debut 160W fast charging.
iQOO 8 marketing prop with FlashCharge branding
Yesterday brought us a look at the iQOO 8 marketing prop which did sport a new FlashCharge sign possibly hinting at the 160W solution. Granted this is just pure speculation at this point and there’s no official word from iQOO yet so take this info with caution.
160W charging is certainly possible, we recently got the chance to test out Infinix’s Concept Phone 2021 which managed a full charge in a mere 10 minutes blasting 160W of power into its 4,000 mAh battery.
For now, we’ll just have to wait for more official news and see what iQOO has in store.

I wonder if it catches fire... I know few people that put their phone under their pillow, also while charging (just why) And before someone says "but the phone is full in 10 minutes" then here is my answer, most of the people I know th...

always prefer fast charging like this rather than charging my phone in between 90-165 minutes &u r one kind of a far sighted dude here i guess !
