Instagram iOS Android Apps

Head of Instagram Adam Mosseri posted an update to Twitter where he announced new features coming to Instagram creators with paid Subscribers. Instagram creators can sign up to the Subscribers program where they can charge their followers a monthly fee to see exclusive content through the Instagram app.

📣 Subscriptions Update 📣

Subscriptions are a great way for creators to have a predictable income & for fans to get exclusive content from creators that they love.

This update includes:
- Subscriber Chats
- Subscriber Reels
- Subscriber Posts

In the video posted to Twitter, Mosseri tells us that subscribers will be able to host exclusive chats that they can participate in and interact with fans. Up to 30 subscribers can be in a Subscriber chat.

This is just one step on a much longer path to provide creators everywhere with a whole range of tools to be able to make a living online.

Reels and posts can now be posted directly to subscribers and these posts will carry the Subscriber badge as well. In addition, creators with Subscriber content will now have a “Subscriber home” tab on their profiles so their followers can see exclusives or sign up to be a Subscriber.

Back in January, Instagram introduced Subscriptions with support for Live video and Stories that only paid followers can see. Plus, Subscribers who interact with posts also have a badge next to their name.

Zuckerberg stole Facebook from the guys he worked for, so that's all he knows how to do. The Metaverse will be a complete and udder failure be Zuckerberg didn't steal it.
