I would have bought 2 for that price. I really like this phone and it's one of the very few phones I wanted to see Infinix re-releasing with Dimensity chipset.

been using this phone for about 5 days. i was in dilemma if i should buy this or Infinix Zero 30 5G 12/256, because i saw Zero X Pro price in shopee Malaysia for RM499 8/128, Zero 30 for RM1299. bought Zero X Pro instead because the price is so attractive with 5x zoom.
no 5G on this phone but 5G in my area is not widely implemented yet so this phone should be fine for another 2 years. at this price point it's just a no brain choice. Android stuck at 11 but i personally dont really mind about it as long as it still supports my banking app.
5 days review:
cons:
1) 120hz screen works nicely
2) 2 sim cards + 1 microsd slot
3) 3.5mm jack
4) 45w fast charging
5) all cameras are useful, even the ultrawide angle has AF. no 5mp/2mp marketing camera.
6) front camera has led flash (actually useful)
7) helio g95 is fine, i play genshin, this phone can run genshin at medium settings i guess but i dont really want to push it so i play at custom low settings 30fps.
8) build quality feels good on hand. free official casing in the box that is actually good.
9) 8/128 at RM499 just imagine
cons:
1) screen quality is just decent at least it's oled so can get pure black. also mine got i think factory defect. on dark grey background at low brightness, it has gradient color of black to dark grey from left to right, which supposed to be only dark grey. high brightness and other colors have no issue like that. i got this problem on my other 2 oled phones also so i dont really mind about it. not going to return a cheap phone with 5 days of delivery time.
2) battery life feels like draining faster. im using 120hz setting but still. at least it has 45w charging
3) always-on display is not always on. it turned off after few seconds. like why
4) quite a lot factory preinstalled bloatware but many of them can be uninstalled and with the help of adb
5) no ingress protection. i dropped my LG V30 2 times on the floor with water on it, no water dmg. so now i have to be more careful with this phone

Been using for 3 days before returned to exchange for another phone Infinix 30 pro. Everything seems ok for me for daily use. No overheating issue anymore after update system to the latest version. Everything goes smooth. The camera not bad and can shot moon. I'm not playing game. But the major turns off for me is the color and only can watch Netflix on SD/480p max quality. Because this phone has Widevine L3 which you can only watch on SD even you subscribe to Ultra HD. Not just Netflix, also other streaming services like prime and so on. This phone not recommended if you want watching movies. For YouTube videos and Facebook still not bad can watch up to 1080p and 4k but the color not that impressive and look pale. Find phone with Widevine L1 because it can support full HD on any streaming app like Netflix.

The color and touch on the feels quite premium because the of the back glass. The camera design have the same design with Xiaomi 10T and it is still look awesome.

Anonymous, 31 Aug 2023Buy realme 10 pro for all-round performanceWhy you want to compare this phone to Realme 10? Realme 10 doesn't give 4K Video Recording on back and front camera. Yes, the android version on this is older but trust me this phone will works great for another 2 years.

New security patch (August, 5) dropped today. No issues or bugs so far. I didn't noticed anything new and the update file was pretty small (75MB more or less).

I think that this phone offers a lot even in its original price and most phones with same specs, finish and extras costs way more than it. The price they are asking nowadays on AliExpress is more than enough reason to get one.
Cameras deliver solid quality, even moon shots are great if you spend some time tweeking the settings. Pro mode also makes wonders if you know how to use the basics. Battery is solid and charging speed is fast enough. No Android update, but security patches are coming each 3 months, more or less. By the way, the last security patch is from June, 5
and Google Play system update from July, 1.
One sad thing is that Aliexpress stores are only selling the Starry Silver variant. Mine is the Nebula Black, and man... the back finish looks amazing, but it's a fingerprint magnet. I wish I could get the Tuscany Brown because of the vegan/faux leather on the back instead of glass, but was available only in certain markets.
