The Infinix Zero 40 5G, unveiled last month, was introduced in India today with three color options - Violet Garden, Moving Titanium, and Rock Black. It will be available in India starting September 21 through Flipkart in 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB configurations, priced at INR27,999 ($335/€300) and INR30,999 ($370/€330), respectively.

The Infinix Zero 40 5G is built around a 6.78" 144Hz 2,436x1,080 px curved AMOLED display and has the Dimensity 8200 Ultimate SoC at the helm. It boots Android 14-based XOS 14.5 and comes with the promise of two major Android upgrades and three years of security updates.

Infinix Zero 40 5G debuts in India

The Zero 40 5G sports a triple camera setup on the rear, comprising 108MP primary (OIS), 50MP ultrawide (120˚ FOV), and 2MP depth units. There's a 50MP unit on the front for selfies and video calls, which can record 4K@60fps videos.

The Zero 40 5G also has a GoPro mode, allowing users to control their GoPro cameras. The rest of the Infinix Zero 40 5G's highlights include JBL-tuned dual speakers, IR blaster, NFC, and a 5,000 mAh battery having 45W wired, 20W wireless, and 10W reverse wired charging support.

Call Recording was removed on all Infinix phones after June 2024 softare update, due to Google Policy restrictions. This also applies with TECNO and itel phones as well.

"You don't even use all of the China-focused features." Of course I don't, there isn't much point to most of them in the EU. lol However the completely chinese BlueLM Copilot works just fine without bugs, so..
