someonei bought3 units for my kids as their graduation gift. and its about 8 months still in good condition i havent seen any issue that is why i decided to buy one for me but ill get the infinix40pro this time. i also want the newest release which is infinix5o but compare to 40pro the camera and charger are better than infinix50.

been using this for 4 months. the base 128GB is fine for me since this offers a bit of performance than the Smart 8.

Most people who don't have money for flagship phone are very careful when picking budget phones and make sure to check the specs before purchase. So it's not fair to see something on the Internet and then when receiving the ordered phone, I get something else

Overall the Infinix Hot 40i comes with a lot of issues right from the manufacturing company, even the hot 30i has a lot more to offer than it. I really regret buying the phone and the first chance I get, I will be swapping the phone for a hot 40 pro or higher.

Coz ... moreIts normal to heat up but 50 degrees well you have a problem try putting an electric fan while charging it will help cool down also the environment can be a cayse why your phone is heating up like whe you have hot environment obvious it will heat

The Infinix hot 40i its good for people who use the device for light games ONLY like pubg and cod etc. and for people on BUDGET like me
(sorry im Filipino so money is very valuable for me i buy this brand new for 4,500 i dont know how much this on US dollar)
The design is good its like infinix smart 8 but more design you will like design of it its look good.
Also about the PERFORMANCE well it have unisoc t606 i know i know.. its not fast 😭 BUT!! Its better to have this than infinix smart 8! BECAUSE it have android 13! And its not GO edition so you find usefull feature on this phone! Unisoc t606 is not strong not fast but decent for casual light gamers and games.
The display is 720 x1612p yeah its 720 DISPLAY so its a battery friendy. Not stunning not bad not good its FAIR, decent so dont expect much more...
The camera is 50mp and the front is 32mp which is impressive for its price but! The color is quite bright like when you go outside and capture a thing you will see on image its wuite bright than the natural light.
The slowmo can capture clearly and smooth video nice 👍 (thumbs up for that) for that
Overall:
Design: 8 fair!
Camera:7.5 (for me)
Display:7.5 not stunning not good not bad its fair!
Battery: 8 im gonna tell you why
Processor: 7.5 you know why!
Features: 8 i will tell you why
PROBLEM: well battery! Yeah it have 5000mah in side the phone but i found the battery is quite little fast draining also Infinix smart 8 have 5000 mah too but when you test both of the phone its will have different result when you test it to 100-0 % without background processing. ALSO the features yes! It have android 13 and not go edition but some of the features is not complete like where the phone gesture!? Yah it have gesture but for MUSIC ONLY MUSIC!!! I hope this help you dont forget that this phone is slow so i suggest you buy a pro version of this model but for LOW BUDGET PEOPLE LIKE ME this is for you 😉
ALSO IT HAVE 18 WATTS CHARGER AND IT HAVE FAST CHARGE FEATURES CRAZY!!
