I own this watch since June 2022, so for more than 1.5 years. Came from Huawei Band 3 Pro and only "updated" to this because battery didn't last for more than 6-7 hours on GPS mode, which could be short for longer bike sessions. Otherwise, everyhing was perfect.
In the beginning everything was ok (fast locking and accurate GPS, supposedly accurate HR measurements / sleep tracking). But in the last months the GPS seemed to go insane, takes 5 minutes to lock on clear areas (today I've tried for 15 minutes with no success, then gave up and started running without waiting). Also, now the GPS is very innacurate (puts me cutting streets and passing throw buildings' walls). The heart rate measurement seems also higher than before, and the screen is somehow marked from previous watchfaces I've used. I've restarted the watch and immediately GPS locking speed issue seemed to get fixed, but now it returned to the reported slowness. Next step will be resetting it, if it doesn't work I'll try to activate guarantee. Anyone else with this pack of bugs? If it was now, I would prefer to invest 250€ on a real sports watch, like the Coros Pace 3.

Actually, I want to transfer some MP3s and be able to listen to music by pairing to a Bluetooth headset, while I am running, no internet no smartphone.

I’ve had the watch for 1 month now. Overall is a great watch.
Im using it for normal everyday things its so good i have no problem with this watch but the Huawei health app has problems with ios users and i don’t know why they can’t fix things
Like watch faces and music …..
But for me its great watch

While cycling on a not so cloudy day around 25 deg. cel. temperature, i looked at my watch and it was turned off, the cycling session i have since 1 hour was gone, i turned the watch on, then i continued another new session along the way as i was heading back home. the next day i checked with my health app on mobile to synchronize the record, i realized the records did not registered on the phone, workout records were empty, all the other past records on the watch were gone, and then i tried to make a short workout for 1 minute, then i found out that the watch is not recording the workout, the watch seemed busted, then i found a solution on a website saying "resetting" would fix the problem, and yes it did after i reset it , new workouts are registered and synchronized with the health app, but the data on the watch like music, downloaded watch faces, are wiped out, tonight i will have a 1 hour work out and hope nothing bad happens, or else this watch is starting to go garbage

The watch is great. But since the last update, the always on display has a very dull light which for me is very annoying. How do we report this to huawei to have sorted out?

I just got the international stable update for the gt 2e watch to have the ability of installing third.
Overall happy with the watch's features, battery life and the support it has.

Ive had the watch for 2 weeks now. Overall is a great watch. There two issues.
First one is the app and watchfaces. If you use ios you get certain watchfaces nd id you use android you get other watchfaces (some you need to pay for, in ios all are free but limited).
Second, sound quality when using bluetooth earbuds with the watch. I downloaded some mp3 for when i go out and exercise. It works ok, the issue cones with the queality of the music. Apparently the watch limita the music bitrate to save battery. As a result the music in certain moments sounds terrible. If you are ok with this, get the watch. If it is a dealbreaker dot you get a higher quality watch. But it can be tough to decide between battery life or a better user experience.

Hello! I own GT2E since February 2021. What can I say? I am happy with the watch. As for toughness no regrets, the watch did great when I was swimming, hiking, riding bicycle on extreme roads, hitting it here and there left few dents on the outside case however display didn't cracked and it works perfectly. That all being said, there is one issue that boggles my mind. And that is a function called TrueSleep. I don't know why and how Huawei cannot address this issue, but the sleep tracking is the worst ever. My MuxBuzz that costs like 25$ does that so much better. I just don't understand what is the problem. I have updated system and everything works perfectly, but TrueSleep is really bad. It doesn't detect sleeping at all! In 5 days it records maybe a nap once in a while. Wish they came up with some sort of update to address this issue. Everything else is fine!
