Anonymous, 17 Jul 2022Own p8 for 6,7 years already. Like the phone design very much. Changed battery last year. Use ... moreSimiliarly, it's been 6 years this January that I bought it as a new one, with 2 years of factory warranty.
It has always worked well, along with 2 battery and 1-2 micro USB port changes (that got bad by my fault when powerbank fell with the cable attached for example, not proud of that).
Unfortunately it also got some overheat and maybe some rain too, so it has some dimly glowing dots but they can't be noticed much. And a bit of a display glass crack on the top, but it still senses my fingers perfectly.
The most annoying that has been happening since last year is that it seomtimes turns off when taking photo below 50-60%, occurs more likely when it's cold. I changed battery, but it still happened. Could be bad quality battery or the electronics sensing the battery.
Otherwise it works perfectly, calls, messages, e-mail notifications, playing video/music, pairs and sounds well with my JBL Tune 660NC bluetooth headphones, files don't go corrupt anywhere (used Intenso, then Sandisk microSD card).
I'm looking for a new phone recently and this will still serve as a backup. A fairly good quality veteran in my eyes :)

Own p8 for 6,7 years already. Like the phone design very much. Changed battery last year. Use as backup phone now. Good for surfing internet, listening to music and watching youtube.

Just bought a second hand P8 gra-L09. Looks like doing great, everything looks ok. Still can not recognize what memory it has - 16, 32, or 64. Any hint pls?

Mine still going strong. Screen in time 4hrs and takes too long to charge. Best money ever spent

Mine is 6 yr old and still perform without any lagging. Pro mode in camera is stunning.

the design was top notch i really wish phones nowadays were made in this style
specially if huawei had google and the design would be this with dual front spacing speaker slightly bigger screen with the bezel being slightly small but bezel is necessary and same back design......... i am in

123, 14 Sep 2020maybe faulty battery. need to change.The reason, it is constantly shutting down after you turned it on, is simply caused by some bridges generated from your phone charging port.
Go to a phone repairs to fixed it, to enable it will work properly

Have got this phone but what weird about the phone is that it has only 4gb of internal storage and it always complaing of storage.. Don't know if it a software problem for having only 4gb of storage or it's an hardware problem

Collins, 25 Jan 2021My P8 camera behaves strangely..it shakes,not able to take photosMine had that problem a while back, I bought a new camera module on ebay and replaced it and it solved the problem for me. I would recommend the work to be carried out by someone who is used to work on tiny things and knows how to safely handle lithium battery packs. I actually ripped my battery cable another time when I had it open but I managed to repair the damage ^^

raty, 31 Oct 2020P8 is the best. I bought mine in October 2015 but I am still using it. It is a good as new.1000% agree with you!
