Huawei HarmonyOS Rumors

The Huawei P50 series is over a year old – the phones were released in August 2021 – but the company has not given up on a new P-series flagship. According to new leaks the Huawei P60 and P60 Pro will launch in March this year and will bring improved cameras, better screens and biger batteries.

The Huawei P60 Pro will allegedly have a 6.6” 120Hz OLED display, its resolution will be 1,440 x 3,200px, compared to 1,228 x 2,700px on the P50 Pro. It will use high frequency PWM dimming (1,920Hz). The panel will be sourced from BOE and there will be a 32MP selfie camera punched into it.

The rear camera will feature a 50MP main sensor (a new Sony IMX888), while the ultra wide will be upgraded to a 50MP sensor (possibly the IMX858, up from 13MP). The telephoto camera might use the same 64MP sensor (OmniVision OV64B).

The vanilla Huawei P60 will have a different setup. Its main camera should use the 52MP IMX789, a 1/1.35” sensor with 1.12µm pixels. It will be joined by a 50MP ultra wide (IMX858) and a 16MP tele camera (IMX351?).

The cameras on the two phones will be based on the in-house XMAGE imaging system. The variable aperture that we saw on the Mate 50 Pro will make an appearance on both phones, according to rumored info.

That same info claims that the P60 Pro will be powered by a 4G version of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and a 5,500mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. For comparison, the P50 Pro had a Snapdragon 888 4G and a 4,360mAh battery with 66W/50W charging.

The Huawei P60 series is expected to adopt some features from the Mate 50 series like the Kunlun toughened glass for the screen (the phones will also have an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance). Also, they should support satellite communication, though that will use the BeiDou constellation and may have limited support outside of China (as is the case with the Mate 50 phones).

Huawei is yet to set an official date or even confirm that the P60 series is coming, but if the March target is correct, we should start seeing official info soon.

Huawei mobile division are just unfortunate collerataral damage. I loved P Pro and Mate series too, Mate 20 Pro was a beast back then and it still hold pretty good, but that has little to do with what caused the problem in the first place and it all ...

And do you sincerely believe that the US does 'not' spy on China ?? And do you also think that birds get pregnant and give birth ?? Please, wake up.
