Solid 7 out of 10 phone. I've been using it for over 3 months and even though I put it through the ringer, she hasn't failed me yet. Snapdragon 680 is good enough for emulating ps2, 3ds and most pc games made before 2005. The battery life is also surprisingly good, easily lasts 10 hours of heavy use and with fast charging this thing hardly powers off. I could go on all day talking about how much I enjoy using this phone, but it isn't perfect. The lack of Google play services is a pain and even though I have GBox, that sometimes crashes requiring a reboot to fix it. Overall, a good phone.

I have suspicions about this phone's operating system. I think it is Android 5 and make up shows as if it is Android 12. Because There is a scrabble game which only works on Galaxy Note 3 N9005. It doesn't work on N910F or any other snapdragon phone. BUT! it works on this Nova 9 SE. Also, not being able to install Play Store is very disappointing. I don't like workarounds. I want Google Photos. Why would you add a section in the accounts for google but prohibit any sign in attemps?

I download keyboard for German language. Everything reverts after soft resetting the phone.
WaaWay has to do something about this problem.
For example: Fix the problem with an update...

I found something in the settings. There is an option to change the audio to mono.
As if the phone has more than one speaker. Using headphones and changing the sound to mono is a terrible idea...

Not being able to stop super or turbo charging is really annoying...
Brightness turns to automatic after every restart, when it is automatic, I can't see anything on the screen. They say there is no google services but YouTube works and Google search opens on its browser. So, what is the point?

This not so smart phone keeps telling me, "There are apps using lots of battery in the background." I open it and see: "WhatsApp & Telegram." Shall I just uninstall them because force stopping them would be very similar to uninstalling?

Wandile Simamane, 27 Oct 2024Battery does charge up full just under 30 minutes, but I'm disappointed with the battery life Super or Turbo charging is bad for the battery and they didn't put an option to stop Super charging. You only have the option for ignoring Turbo charging... That's why, I always turn it off and charge it for 8 hours. I turn it on on the 7th hour. It lasts for 3 days minimum.
