I swapped this tablet for a xiaomi redmi pad. So far so good, both are reliable, no faults found really on either

Great for gaming and watching but for drawing the contact is very bad not good :(
The screen is not so bright even full under the sun
Has google play
Desktop mode runs in mobile version so not really desktop as you imagine
Google docs etc are forced to used the app not browser interface

Anonymous, 06 Jul 2020I'm 100% happy with my MediaPad M5 non-Pro 10.8". I knew what I wanted for a tablet.... moresame here. exactly. I did m nitty gritty research and spent my time and money wisely. Its not perfect but a splendid device, although room for lots of improvement. fulfils most needs.

I knew what I wanted for a tablet. I knew what this tablet could do and couldn't do when I bought it. No unpleasant surprises. That makes a happy customer.
If I have to nitpick, it's the lack of Android 10. Huawei promised two Android versions upgrade, but only delivered one. I guess Huawei knew their business overseas is declining due to the trade wars. They simply gave up certain segment of the business.
