I still find outward-folding foldable screen phones like this more interesting than inward-folding ones, including the Mate X2/X3/X5. You don't need to have two separate screens as with the latter when you can have a single screen that pulls double duty like this. I still reckon Huawei can make a new Mate Xs 3 with Kirin 9010 SoC.

Huawei could've waited until Q3 2022 to launch this foldable phone with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Snapdragon 888 still remains the worst Qualcomm flagship chipset after Snapdragon 808/810.

I recently bought the Honor V-Purse which is the spiritual successor this phone. I've been waiting for Huawei to announce the Xs3. The V-Purse gives me hope that the Xs3 will be a beast.
The main differences are that the V-Purse is MUCH lighter. I was surprised. And it comes with a better case that has the cut out on the back so when using the back camera to take selfies, you do not have to take the case off. The fingerprint reader also seems to be quicker. My dream is for the US to stop the Huawei sanctions so that a Xs3 can come out and have more antennae bands. I really want a US 5G Xs3. People here are always amazed by my Xs2. It's way better than my Galaxy fold.

Don't ever buy huawei phones . i got my matexs2 and 2 month later i had a weird big spot on the screen i went to fix it as it was under warranty. One month later i had the same big spot . now they ask me for 3000aed to fix it . never had this experience with any phone

Battery information is false because battery capacity of this phone is 4600mah but it is written there that it is 4880mah

Grossly overpriced. A stupid externally folding screen that leaves the back half exposed to the elements when folded. Forget about putting a case on this idiocy of a contraption that no other manufacturer will ever want to be associated with. This phone is just pure and utter garbage. Slap on a dirt poor battery life and you have the perfect waste of space that is Huawei's hubris. Pathetic company that will stay pathetic no matter how arrogantly they try to stay relevant.

Everything is good but the battery! The price should be less than $1,000 considering the poor battery performance. If Huawei wants to survive in this market with sanctions, they can avoid such stupid mistakes. The same goes for the P50 Pocket! I have 10+ friends who love Huawei devices and simply reject them because of the price. Imagine how many others would be rejecting it because of the battery...

What a pity！
It's really a pity that it is used Qualcomm Snapdragon 888,a really hot chips without 5G
If it uses kirin 9000 with 5G,it will be a hit around the world

Those who criticize the 2000 euro price of this phone can come and criticize this phone after looking at the price of the 512 GB version of the iPhone 14 pro max model. Foldable screen and innovation will of course have a price, if apple produced such a phone, it would probably say 5000 Euros and everyone would go and buy it as the most beautiful Apple ever.

This phone has no 5G and only 8GB of RAM.
It's nice for people who buy a new phone every year or only use it at home, but this phone will not last long term.
