An amazing phone overall in terms of size, weight, quality, price and functionality. Photo quality is okay, not to the level of Huawei P9 plus. Have been using it for 4 years, it works fine !! The only downside is I cannot use Google pay, my mate 9 pro has Android 8 and not getting any update for Android 9. Unfortunately most bank apps work with Android 9:( To download most of the important applications, it says not compatible with my phone which forces me to buy a new phone.

Hello, I have Mate 9 for you, it has Farsi ROM, it is turned off, it does not turn on Iranian agents say they don't have the flash ROM file, they don't have the skills, unfortunately, if you can help me, I will be grateful.

I have one Huawei Mate P Pro. Last 5 Years I am using this phone without any problem.
Very good performance and good looking.

Business user, 10 Jul 2020Have been using the phone close to 3 years, still smooth without problem I had one for 4 years without problems other than screen replacement ones because I dropped it... And I didn't want to repair it couse I didn't have backup but I just bought one the same so know I have a new old haha

Suddenly My Battery ... moreyes, happened to me. bulged to the point where the screen was noticeably pushing out. replacement battery was only $20 online from overseas. patiently followed online directions to dismantle and replace, and that gave me another solid 2 years... until I dropped it and the screen finally cracked.

I bought a $20 replacement battery online.
I carefully installed it without cracking the screen.
back to new. but the procedure did require care and patience.
it gave me another 2 years until I recently cracked my screen from an awkward drop without a case.

Looking like the new one huawei mate 10 lite.I have them mate 10 lite and the screen is cracked, it didn't get emui 9.1 or 10. It's stuck on 8 and isn't getting any new upgrades.

I got mine Mate 9 pro in well use for above 3 years now, bought it as new. Device works fine, after 3 years I did factory reset as system fluency got worsened, it cured all issues related to smoothness. Battery capacity has dropped down by 30% from what I can tell, yet it's still somehow manageable to get the phone through the day... Can call myself 'a satisfied user' easily
