The scores of the Kirin 9000 according to NanoReview are very different from what you've said.
Not to mention, that the GPU of the Kirin 9000S hasn't been given a score yet, we do not know how powerful this chipset is, or what the scores of it are. It's literally unknown.

Single core score

Multi core score
3630 5050
Also, 9000 has 1139 and 3242 as single and multi core scores respectively, so clearly 9000s is only marginally different from its predecessor, especially judging by the name itself.

Good thing China knows how to fight back unlike Japan that sign Plaza Accord that favors the US.

Anonymous, 30 Aug 2023Shame this model won't get a European release, only Pro. Well, the Pro variant won't be released globally too, probably because they got 5G working again, would be better if they used the same 4G Snapdragon chips from their previous phones

LucaKirani, 30 Aug 2023You can change the 3 punch hole to one solid in settings if you don't like the 3 holes. I think that would be a lot worse, but then again I have no issues with the 3 punch holes, I think that looks better than how Apple has done it.
