HarmonyOS Next will no longer allow Android apps to run (no more apk support). However, international devices will continue running EMUI and keeping apk support until Huawei is sure they're ready to jump to HarmonyOS Next.

Anonymous, 01 Dec 2023I wouldn't "Enjoy" a phone released in 2023 with a half-decade-old SOC.my phone has a kirin 710 chipset & is still working like
new provided that u dont use it while its memory is full
it can do 6 x loss less video zoom and at least 5 of my
friends say that it s sharp so i assume the710A should
be almost on par with the kirin 710 isnt it not my friend
?
the 22.5 watts charging is already fast enough in my
opinion but still wait for a higher screen to body ratio
!

TAMBAYNGCOMSOC, 05 Dec 2023yeah.. all huawei devices and its latest are nailed to android 10 masked by harmonyos to hide ... moreEMUI 13 was based on AOSP 12 (there's no EMUI 14 yet) and harmonyOS is not based on Android(having Android libraries doesn't mean it is masked Android, one is using monolithic kernel and other is micro kernel, harmonyOS is using superior one(micro kernel) but people who used both EMUI and harmonyOS on the same device are saying EMUI is faster but not much to notice if you don't put them near each other and compare them) but at the end of day, believe what you want❤️
