When Huawei announced its Ascend D quad new flagship at the MWC, the Chinese company said it will be arriving at the market in either Q2 or Q3. Well we now got more specific information and sadly we'll have to wait until the third quarter of the year to see the quad-core beast in flesh.
The good news is the Huawei Ascend D quad will only miss a Q2 launch by a whisker. According to the reports, Huawei expects to start production of the smartphone in June and release it on the marketing early July.
There are no details on the pricing just yet, but we are hoping Huawei will keep its promise and release the D quad at a price 15% to 25% lower than that of the competitors. Given that the D quad will probably hit the shelves at about the same time as the next Galaxy S smartphone, so it will need a pretty aggressive price tag to compete.
We are also still on the lookout for information regarding the Ascend D quad regional availability. Huawei did mention it will eventually go global, but we are yet to find out which markets will get it first.
it's stupid UK politics slow down the technology. Feels like living in stone age. In the UK technology comes in half year later than anywhere else in the world. Even 3rd world country get tech faster than UK
