HTC Android Announcement

HTC announced another entry-level device with the Wildfire E Star. The phone brings a 6.5-inch LCD with HD+ resolution and a watedrop notch for the 5MP fixed focus selfie cam. It is equipped with the Unisoc SC9832E chipset paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage which is expandable via the microSD card slot. The back houses an 8MP main cam and a secondary QVGA module (0.08MP) module

HTC Wildfire E Star brings a 3,000 mAh battery with 5W charging over USB-C and boots Android 12 (Go edition). The phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. HTC Wildifire E Star is listed on the HTC Africa website for now without any pricing and availability details.

New features require more ROM and RAM, that's what updates are about. And in the past 10 years was the update Era! So

But most apps do basically the same thing as 10 years ago. We see more videos in apps before, so I expect a slight increase in hardware requirements, but stuff like YT worked 10 years ago, so something like a SD425 still should've worked fine. S...
