It's an old timer. But the latest version Ubuntu works well. You get all the software and games and they work !!! Some drawbacks : no wifi and bluetooth ( yet) , No telephone althhough data exchange should be possible but i don't use it. A very small keyboard ( but I like that..) The WinCE part I use as calendar and does not use much power although the backlight must be dimmed every time you switch. Ubuntu can brought to sleep with the quick key. And resumes perfectly even with multiple programs open. You have multiple windows (4) in yr device and if you connect an VGA external screen also multiscreen. And last nut not least , all the Ubuntu mind twisting games. The touchscreen and mousepad are not that handy compared to an iPad. But it all works and I anjoy the use of it.

Where can i get battery replacement for my HTC shift. The battery has been dead and i cant find a replacement here in Abuja, Nigeria. Moreover, I dont seem to enjoy it anymore since it crashed and the OS was replaced with Windows 7. Its such a sad experience. Need battery else i thrash it.
