If only HTC brings back this phone but with modern hardware/software and a USB Type C and a bump up in battery life (say 3000 MLA) and updated camera still at 20MP. Putting an AMOLED screen probably wouldn't work well, (in any case it doesn't really matter).

I had this phone for 2 years now, but overall it's pretty below average. The perfomance didn't really held up plus it overheats way too much, the screen's resolution is 1440p which is nice but it destroys that small battery.
And the cameras are meh for today's standards.The only best thing about this phone is obviously the speakers and screen (tho it's not that color accurate and the batter thing)
And also the buttons on this thing is fragile

We deserve refunds been using since 2016. Power key is fragile. Anyway, its been serving me as an immovable hotspot for a while

this is the best phone i've ever had the only problem is the battery because it only has 2100mah but all in all this is the best i had this for about 4 years now. it has all the cracks and lagging but i still love this even if 100% and after 1 hour it is drained. im planning to buy new phone i love to have this again but htc stop producing this great phone :(

I Just bought this online and it arrived several days ago. Brand New In the Box but of Old Stock. Bought it for a measly USD 92 LoL. Just started using it since last night and it has been downloading all updates from 4.4.4 to God knows what.
Gotta admit, the design is just damned beautiful and sleek with the Gunmetal Grey. but the awesome heat coming of this metal body is amazing when doing a 4G videocall at 20 minutes. Via CPU-Z app I saw the temperature soar to 50 degrees celcius.
Hopefully I can use this as my backup daily driver and media player

I use it since 2015, and now cannot change to any other new one, as its camera is perfect and the sound is stereo. For me it is the best phone, even comparing to new samsungs, xiaomis, apples, altough the other phones have more pixels in camera, everyone falls in love with the photos I take with my phone. Those people who bought it now - in 2019, probably they are second hand and already had some issues, thats why stopped working.
The disadvantage can be the memory, as it is 32GB, but nowadays higher storage in phones are more popular. Overall, it was and is a perfect phone for me

My HTC One M9 won't update from Android version: 5.0.2 to 6.0
Once the download is complete and starts installing once it gets to 25 %, then stops and shows a red triangle with an exclamation point.
After a while it reboots, but is still with the old software.
I'm getting real tired of this! I have searched the web for answers, and I see that many has got this issue, but none knows how to fix it. I will appreciate any support to fix this issue.
It's what the HTC One M9 should have been. HTC should have just released this phone.
