Honor Android

At 9.2-9.3mm thick and with a weight of 226-230g (depending on the color), the Honor Magic V3 is one of the thinnest and lightest horizontal foldables on the market. All this without sacrificing battery life (it has a 5,100mAh battery) and charging (66W wired and 50W wireless). If you’re curious to see what’s inside, check out WekiHome’s disassembly video.

Most things inside the phone are as slim as Honor could make it. The wireless charging coil, for example, is only 0.25mm thick (this includes the heat dissipation film on it). The internals of the device are a mix of metal and plastic to balance strength with weight.

The camera module bucks the trend and the periscope module is thicker than the one inside the Huawei Mate X5. That said, the camera bump is not included in the phone’s thickness (no maker includes it).

The battery is divided into two cells: one 3,130mAh and one 2,020mAh, both of which are impressively thin at 2.8mm and 2.4mm. Both use Honor’s in-house E1 chip that manages charging and protection duties.

The Honor Magic V3 is launching in China tomorrow, July 19, and is “coming soon” to the UK.

No one forces to use all day inner screen) But if u need one, you have an option at the cost of battery life. Unless u live in the forest, that shouldn't be an issue 😁

That'll need to be as thick as a brick then, hopefully these companies will make their phones thinner and thinner, and once they've settled they'll go back a bit to accommodate a larger battery
