As anticipated, Honor scheduled an event on February 27 during MWC in Barcelona. The company confirmed it will launch the Magic5 series and finally bring the Magic Vs to the global scene. The arrival of the foldable is hardly a surprise, as Tony Ran, President of Honor EU, already promised in an interview the phone will arrive in the first quarter of 2023.
The event will begin at 13:30 CET and will be available to follow online. We’ll also have boots on the ground to prepare hands-on impressions on the Magic5 devices as soon as the launch ends. We already handled The Magic Vs after its debut in November, and we loved its thin and light body.
The Honor Magic5 lineup is expected to include three phones powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset - a vanilla version, a Pro, and an Ultimate. We also spotted a Lite device on Google Play Console, powered by a Snapdragon 695 chipset, and it could also arrive at the launch in Barcelona. There are four weeks until the launch, and we will closely follow the rumor mill for more details that might emerge ahead of the MWC launch.
Well, that's odd. I bought mine at launch and have had multiple updates and regular security updates. VoLTE and VoWiFi both working simply fine on EE in the UK.
Honor very dissapinted. I bought a Magic 4 pro in 2022 May, till now no software or security updates no VOLTE, and software is buggy. So dissapointed..
