Is this phone still worth considering in 2025 or 2026 even?
Given its market price now caps at about 60$ (Refurbished)?

Truly an old faithful. The best phone 1've ever had! I bought it in 2020 and this is 2025 when I want to give it an 'honorable' retirement! I understand its been discontinued.

I bought this phone in 2020 and now August 2025 I haven't had any problems so far. The battery life is great. All updates are coming on time. It never gets hot or hangs. The camera performance is also very good. My screen time is on average eight to ten hours. Even today it feels like new.

5 years so far with this mobile, great performance and I can't find a way to replace it as it's fullifying my tasks smoothly

I love this phone simple and everything about it even it's beautiful cameras never disappoint me .

Bought this phone around covid time and still using it. the 128/6gb model is the variant I got and I could say one of the best phone I used for a affordable price range of that time. Even tho the specs don't fit for this time still one of the best phone I ever bought and still using it without any slowness in software the only problem right now is the battery cause been using the original battery but still one of the solid phone I used without any problem for 4 years so far.

After N72, Nokia C6, xolo 6inch phone, windows xl7, mi max 2 Bought this Lovely gadget. Biggest reason is the popup camera that makes the screen absolutely flawless without any notch, hole and other fancy defects and provides an unmatched media experience. Plays every game without any hiccups, camera also more than enough for both main and selfie 🤳. 3.5 jack as well. There's basically nothing wrong with this phone for the price. Only for 14000 INR. Happiest and luckiest to own one. Most important thing - i never updated it. Just works like it worked on day 1 itself. Phenomenal.

And it's going to be funnier now since by 7th year, devices with 128gb storage will be crying for more space. 😂

Software katastrofe... moreand what do you get with an update, only a burden on the system, which certainly starts lagging behind and loses internal memory, and then you wonder how your phone's memory has disappeared, despite the fact that you did not use it, Honor phones are a diamond in mobile devices

This Phone has served me well since Mid 2020 purchased during Pandemic when there were supply shortages of all sorts of things. All in All this Phone has served me well and Still looks like New and holds a good charge lasts me 2+days of moderate usage. My only gripe with this phone was the lack of NFC for Google Payment with Bank Card and the Photo quality just wasn't great when comparing images with My Partners Flagship Phones from Samsung+Apple Otherwise its been a good phone for a lower/mid range priced phone although being stuck on Android 10 since 2020 was not great and an IPS Display @60FPS is now dated too.
Otherwise nearly comparable with say HONOR X6a 128GB @£100GBP or a Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 128GB @£130GBP. although these offer newer Android versions as well as 90-120FPS LED Displays
I have just upgraded to Motorola G84 5G 256GB with 12GB RAM @£200GBP for similar cost to buying this in 2020.

A great device wven in 2023 still better than many other phones srill super fast feels like 8 or 10 ram but its actually 6 ram but actually feels like higher and very beautiful cameras front and back with huge display

I got my Huawei Honor 9X the year it was released and I can honestly say it has outperformed any Smartphone I have ever had and this model hasn't disappointed me yet. I also have a Huawei GT2 Smartwatch and a pair of KVIDIO (Soundcore Anker Life Q20 clone) Bluetooth headphones and together I rarely have to handle the phone physically when on the go. I love this phone and the accessories I use with it.

THe phone itself was okayish when it came out. But in 2023:
Starts to stutter for no reason
Skype more crashed then it works
Viber gets stuck with backing up content , its notifications are stuck " sending media "
Internet browsers stutter
Sensor for screen off does not work every time, just like on every chinese brand these days
There is no front screen protection, front glass looks like it was through a war
All these issues are happening on this phone, i have redmi note9pro as well , only have minor issues compared to this honor.
