I assume that your phone has been rooted and with that all support and upgrades to Android 10 have been locked, in order to be able you need to un-root the phone but it is unknown to me because I have not done such experiments on both of my Honor 8x which from 2019 to this day work perfectly and are with Android 10, I think that to unroot the phone, it is best to go to a mobile store where they can do it in a short time and small money, greetings and I wish you success in that

Anonymous, 14 Oct 2024All these old outdated refurbished huawei phones should be upgraded to newer apps and versionsI don't know what to upgrade, because all apps are updated regularly (for example, Honor 8x apps are updated 3~4 times a week, and several of them,5~10, while Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, which I also have, updates 2-3 apps a month , catastrophic update)
Honor 8x is running smooth and fast, are you having problems? if you haven't done root.

I can't even reset the phone through factory setting either. I can't tell what the previous user or seller did to this phone before putting it out for sale. It just feels useless to me right now.

Don't know what else to do. I'm at the point of smashing this phone against the wall because it's almost useless to me now.

with the HUAWEI HiSuite application you can update your phone, but first unroot it.

I took the phone to a phone geek but he says he's not familiar with Honor OS. Unfortunately, he's the only one I trust with my phone.
I desperately need help to unroot my device. It is darn frustrating, sir. Thanks
