Anonymous, 30 Jul 2025Why are refubished phones like Huawei,s WhatsApp always blocked after using for a while ? u better ask Huawei users, this is Honor anf there is no block for any app from play store or else, try yo find your ptoblem in software, cos your phone is rooted, best solution is to unroot or reinstall android on phone in service

I assume that your phone has been rooted and with that all support and upgrades to Android 10 have been locked, in order to be able you need to un-root the phone but it is unknown to me because I have not done such experiments on both of my Honor 8x which from 2019 to this day work perfectly and are with Android 10, I think that to unroot the phone, it is best to go to a mobile store where they can do it in a short time and small money, greetings and I wish you success in that

Anonymous, 14 Oct 2024All these old outdated refurbished huawei phones should be upgraded to newer apps and versionsI don't know what to upgrade, because all apps are updated regularly (for example, Honor 8x apps are updated 3~4 times a week, and several of them,5~10, while Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, which I also have, updates 2-3 apps a month , catastrophic update)
Honor 8x is running smooth and fast, are you having problems? if you haven't done root.

Mr N, 19 Jul 2024I don't have "System & update" option because the phone is running on Custo... morethe best is to go to an authorized Huawei service and have them unroot or install a new OS for your Honor 8x, but surely one of the other sales and service centers for mobile phones can unroot your phone, it's easy for them small money procedure. what country are you from my friend

I can't even reset the phone through factory setting either. I can't tell what the previous user or seller did to this phone before putting it out for sale. It just feels useless to me right now.

pane, 12 Jul 2024google it and you have several methods. https://safeboxguide.com/unroot-honor-8x/ HUAWEI... moreI tried the first link to unroot my phone, the app says my device isn't rooted but when I try to download my EMUI version it says my device is rooted, so I can't log into my HuaweiID. Don't know what else to do. I'm at the point of smashing this phone against the wall because it's almost useless to me now.
