Specially signal, camera and battery
Its better than oppo reno 12 pro china version??
GSMArena should update their review on the battery life of the Honor 200 Pro. It is definitely more than their 11 hours claim in their initial review. I am getting much longer battery life than what they've gotten in their initial review maybe in the high 12 hours plus. Also, it also forgot to mention that night mode doesn't have a toggle on the camera app's interface but it automatically activates in low light so no need for a toggle since the phone camera automatically detects if it needs to activate night mode.
Ismayil , 28 Aug 2024Honor 200 pro 256 gb 256gb is already small considering how huge common apps are right now. In my region, 256gb isn't even available. 256gb is the new 128gb so don't bother.

The thin profile is good for thermals as Honor did try to lower the clocks a bit compared to other SD 8SGen3 phones during demanding use. I have no complaints about the thermals.
Those who have bought it, can you confirm if it heats the cell phone??? In other cell phones this processor heats up a lot.
Cristian94, 23 Aug 2024it's only boosting by 35% when u have poor signal so u will don't notice Very useful in my case where the A55, S23U struggled the 200 Pro still had several bars left on a work area that is notorious for one bar to none in terms of signal reception.

It gets better and better hopefully it is... moreMe too, i also find a very useful setting in developer options , charging temperature limit, activate this and your battery will not pass 36c , I charged to 88% and this don't want to die :) , coming from ZenFone 9 witch i was happy about battery life but this it's very noticeable and happy with faster charging also , don't like the plastic frame though, i already did a mark and not even fall down :)
When coming 200 pro 256 gb...?
I am impressed with the battery life of the 200 Pro. It gets better and better hopefully it is able to sustain the good battery life even with future updates.
potato4k, 19 Aug 2024If updates are important to you, just go with Samsung.it was a long time ago when Samsung had more updates than others,my Honor 8x has 3 updates since 2018 and to this day it works better than all the others that I have around the house and for the Samsung that I also have 3 pieces and all the plastic is peeling and falling apart and the power button is falling off, even the batteries are bad, while my Honor after 5.5 years I still have a whole day of battery, simply whoever tries it will not go back to other manufacturers because Honor is very high quality

Was intended to buy Samsung A55. Instead got myself Honor 200 pro.
A55 was ard rm2000. I paid rm2519 for Honor 200 pro.
Sick of Samsung A50, used it for 5 yrs. Slow charging, weak wifi signal and amongst others.
Read that Samsung A55 has weak wifi signal as well and charging speed is slow at 25w.
potato4k, 19 Aug 2024If updates are important to you, just go with Samsung. While I love Samsung as a brand I just don't like the fact that they skimp on tech and features on the mid-range phones. Plus, for some reason their phones aren't the best when it comes to signal strength even for flagships at least in my region. Had the S22U, S23U and A55 all in the last 2 years and all three are having signal issues maybe due to their frames which isn't made of plastic but made of high grade metal or aluminum.

I have owned a Samsung Galaxy A72 for almost four years. The very good thing about it is the warranty of 4 Android upgrades.
Nowadays, I am considering getting my phone upgraded. The Honor 200 Pro caught my attention. The only thing I am hesitant about is the number for major updates. You guys in GSM mentioned that it was promised by Honor that it would take 4 major updates. I found no proof of this on Honor official pages.
Can you please confirm the validity of this?
