I've had this phone for 4 months now. I'm not really into using the camera, but I think this phone has an issue with its SIM data connection. I often need to reconnect multiple times before I can get an internet connection. But it doesn't end there — after a few moments, the connection drops again.
I tried updating the phone, but of course, there's no update available.
Anyway, the phone's functionality is decent, but not great. I bought mine for 7,000 pesos.

Camera isn't the strong point of this device, it's the chipset, very snappy and can handle mobile legends, wild rift, and hok with no problem, battery also decent, it doesn't produce much heat too while gaming, speakers are also better than imagined, the OLED display is also beautiful and gives pure blacks that it makes the bezels almost invisible.

jenro, 02 Feb 2025which is better hmd crest or redmi 13/poco m6?HMD Crest, because you wouldn't want to deal with a weaker processor, a lower resolution PLS TFT and dated eMMC 5.1 (proven via CPU-Z).

RishiGuru, 22 Nov 2024Will HMD be providing 2 Android version upgrades for this phone? Or is it live with Android 14... moreI've noticed that they've specified "Android 15 ready" on the box for our regional variant, so there's a high chance they might provide 2 major OS upgrades.
Regardless, this is the cheapest worldwide smartphone with 5G connectivity, and it doesn't suffer from issues as featured in the alternative that comes close (Umidigi G9 5G).

RishiGuru, 22 Nov 2024Metal frame? I find it to be a plastic frame.Plastic frame with an aluminium or stainless steel inner chassis. That's what HMD had been doing since their inception for non-aluminium unibody phones.
