Xiaomi Android Rumors

Xiaomi is expected to unveil the 15 and 15 Pro smartphones on October 20, at an event in China. Today we have our first look at the Xiaomi 15 Pro courtesy of some leaked renders showing the device in three colors - black, white, and silver. A special titanium edition will also be available.

The phone has a rear design that's quite reminiscent of its predecessor, the Xiaomi 14 Pro, which launched last year. The main difference is the LED flash array now being moved outside of the camera island.

The Xiaomi 15 Pro is rumored to come with a 6.78-inch quad-curved AMOLED panel made by TCL, "2K" resolution, and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.

The Leica-branded triple rear camera setup comprises of a 50 MP main unit with a 1/1.3" sensor and f/1.4 aperture, a 50 MP ultrawide, and a 50 MP 5x telemacro camera with 30cm minimum focus distance. For selfies there will be a 32 MP snapper.

The device will come with five major Android updates promised, satellite connectivity for the titanium edition, and a 6,000 mAh battery with support for 90W wired, 80W wireless, and 10W reverse wireless charging.

As an owner of the Xiaomi 14. I like the battery upgrade and other small upgrades. I do wish they had more antennas because I could easily lower the WiFi signal by 1 or 2 bars by holding the phone in a way that covers the cameras. Minor issue, but no...
