Here are the phones to get EMUI 9.1 in India over the next few weeks

Huawei has announced the schedule of its EMUI 9.1 rollout in India for its 8 most popular smartphones.

The phones will get an over the air bump to EMUI 9.1 in three phases. The first to receive the update is the Huawei P20 Lite, this week.

Next week, from July 24, the Huawei Y9 (2019), Nova 3, Nova 3i and the Huawei Mate 20 Pro are in line for the firmware, followed by the P30 Lite and P20 Pro by August 7.

EMUI 9.1 brings Huawei's new EROFS file system, GPU Turbo 3.0, the AR Measure app, Dual-View Video along with improved performance, new wallpapers and icons.

Huawei is working on EMUI 9.1 for older Huawei devices. The Huawei Mate 9, Mate 9 Pro, Mate 9 Porsche Design, P10, P10 Plus, nova 2s, Honor 9 and Honor 8 Pro have all entered beta testing.
