Ever since its announcement last month we've known that HTC's U11 would arrive in most places sporting 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage, but that there would be some exceptions to that. Namely, some countries that are going to be blessed with a different version of the phone, one with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
While HTC itself hasn't yet shared an official list of these, a famed leakster of information related to the Taiwanese company has decided to help by publishing a "preliminary" list of those markets. For now there are nine entrants, but more could be added.
So, without further ado, here's where you'll find an HTC U11 with 6GB of RAM: China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, India, Hong Kong, Russia, Saudi Arabia, and the Philippines. The 6GB iteration of the handset will come only in dual-SIM configuration, apparently. Some additional countries in the Middle East may get this model too, as well as certain (yet unnamed) African nations. That's it, though, as far as regions go - the higher-specced U11 will never be officially offered in Europe or the Americas.
