According to Google, the year 2026 is going to be one of the biggest years for Android yet. We’ll have to wait for the show to find out what exactly that means.
The event is likely to showcase upcoming Android 17 features, along with other consumer-focused updates. Google may also offer a glimpse at its rumored unified platform that merges ChromeOS and Android. There will also be plenty of Gemini and AI announcements as well.

They can make new versions all they want but we'll only keep doing the same things we've been doing from last 10-15 years. Browse web, send texts, watch videos etc. Doesn't really matter what they launch.
