I was able to hold a PIXEL 8 demo unit in nearby store today.. Very nicely done. Wish it was little small like 6" for factor but way better than pixel 7 squarish look (and tall). Good screen to body ratio 85%+.
wonder why not stick to 6", 6.7" and keep changing/improving internals every year.?

Micro sd is too slow compared to ufs 3+, great to have expandable storage but not storage that is incredibly slow. Most base storages are 128gb anyways, slowly becoming 256gb.
3.5 mm audio jack, plenty of wireless devices to choose from. And adapters if you still really want wired.
FM radio - IR blaster, most phones dont have these cause no one uses them. If there was a high enough user count for these features, they would still be in phones.

But many people prefer LCD screens because most of them are PWM free. The same can't be said about amoled screens. Many people get migranes, headaches, eye strain just by using, even for a few minutes, a phone with an amoled screen.

Meanwhile a super cheap xiaomi 92.00 euros phone has 256G and SD card slot ...
Let's BOYCOTT them all this is ridiculous give us a SD card slot or at least 1 Terabyte...yes house are paying more than 500.00 euros we deserve some real storage ....people dont we? 128 GB ITS RIDICULOUS AND LAUGHABLE

Samsung promises all this so far, besides, the pixel assistant does not work in all languages and all those functions for which you have overpaid may not work in your country, what about the phone assistant, etc., for an ordinary user, translation is enough, and translation from images, since Yandex has done what Google still cannot do

Also, if you really pick LCD just for the natural colours it has, you shouldn't. There's a setting to tweak colours.

Garbage price. I wouldn't pay $699 for a phone to sue for 7 years if the processor can't even beat the A14.
