I had no overheati... moreWell, that's sad because I found a pixel 6a in good condition for just 100 bucks on sale. What I really like about this phone is the form factor ("compact enough"). I'm not a fan of the processor either, but I just simply don't want to be walking around with a brick in my pocket. Any recommendations regarding finding a compact phone in similar price? (can go up to 160$/€)

My Pixel 6a's display is gone - where can I find a cheap fix for this? $100/INR10k for a phone display doesn't make sense when the phone is available in the used market for about $150.

The Pixel 6a was my first Google phone coming from Moto and Samsung models. I had no overheating issues with any of my previous phones such as I have with the Pixel 6a. Making a simple phone call gets it fairly toasty. Forget about using it as a mobile hotspot, the 6a becomes the hotspot. I am so disappointed with Google they invented the Android software so it should be working smoothly with their hardware. If you look at all the recent Pixel phone reviews on GSMarena you can see the Tensor chip's thermal management is poor. The chip throttles quickly, even on the Tensor 2 and 3 chips. My next phone will NOT be a Pixel or any device running a Samsung made chip. BTW Google support never replied back to my overheating question months ago. Poor product, poor service going elsewhere for my next mobile device.

Simple and no nonsense experience. I am keeping this device for another 2 years at least.
I have faced no problem of any sort. No heating, no FP issues, no lagging, absolutely good battery life.
I happy that I got this device.

I have had the pixel for two years now. It will burn hot when pressed in these conditions but not when idle. Only if you have or Viber. Even then, it just dissipates heat from the aluminum body. If you can stand it, the phone will be alright. High quality build in my experience. Will buy a pixel again when the time comes

The pixel 6a has been on fire, ridiculously hot. Been using it only the shade or near an a/c unit. Get about 15 minutes of usage before I need to put it down to cool off to hot to handle. As well reception is fairly poor, the battery needs to be recharged half way through my day, on light usage. Going back to Qualcomm Gen 6,7,8 processor on my next phone. Google has still not replied back to me on the overheating issue, over one month.

I'll share my experience thus far with my Pixel 6a after about one year. Purchased directly on the Google store. First Google customer support is 0/10 they have not even replied back to me about a very common issue OVERHEATING, which many of you have complained about. The phone gets extremely hot even when using it as a Wi-Fi hotspot (no joke there). Battery life is not great, below average for sure 4/10. Cameras are great for the price paid 8/10, zoom is not good. I bought it for the stock software experience but with the horrible customer support I will be buying an alternate brand next time. Maybe One+ 12R got a good review on GSMarena.

I had my Google pixel 6A for like a year from Metro and it's been a great phone so far I will upgrade but not anytime soon

Simple and straightforward. No nonsense.
This is my personal phone and I am not changing it soon. At least not till Pixel 10 series is launched, if Google continues with Pixel Lineup.
