bro this was ultra flagship at the time like even the best iphones than had less than 2550 mAh and 5w charging also the flagship phones had 3gb ram but 4gb is a game changer then also the chip was a mid ranger chip in the 2020 and having that is just mind blowing dispite being it's first phone ever made in the pixel world

Buyer beware. Check the forums before you buy. I had a Pixel 7a, less than 2 years, only normal light usage (texting, gmail, occasional YouTube vids, Maps, phone calls). About a month ago I started having crazy battery drain. Once I hit 50 percent, even without usage I knew the phone would be dead in an hour. Once it hit 20 percent, it warned me about "low battery", and then I would watch it drain one percent per second until the phone shut off 20 seconds later. Searched Forums. Found out this is a widespread issue. The battery literally causes a bulge big enough to push out the back glass. I contacted Google to tell them about the drain. They suggested a Factory Reset. Said that helps "sometimes". When that did not help, and I pointed out that this is a widespread issue from what I am reading, they declined to take any responsibility. Suggested I get a new battery. I took it to a tech for analysis, and the report was that the bulge was so bad that even a new battery wouldn't save the phone.
Other issues I had had since Day 1 -- the screen brightness is so bad outside that when taking daytime photos, I *literally* just pointed in the direction of what I wanted and hoped for the best, b/c i couldn't see it on the screen.
I have been using smartphones for many years and have never ever ever had a problem like this. Anyone interested in having a phone for more than a year may want to think twice about Pixels.

I have 2 with the same issue. And just because the phone does not get software updates does not mean that it's ok the hardware breaks. It's bad soldering. When you have no idea stop making accusations, also stop bootlicking big tech corporations for their own faults.

I am still using this pixel now. Infact same phone I am using to write now. The only issue is, the battery is weak 😆😆

All phones have components that’ll eventually fail with age.
Audio issues appears to be the speaker’s being at fault. Any local phone repair shop could be willing to fix it.
I’m also assuming that you didn’t even bother with looking up if the phone is supported by Google which, newsflash, it isn’t. Google stopped software support for the Pixel 3 and earlier.
If you’re that petty about Google not responding back to a product that they themselves likely won’t be able to help with, then I suppose you deserve the silent treatment from google.

I hate this phone, very nonsense phone. The audio just stopped working, and the videos are not playing. I've done everything possible to make it work again but it's still the same. I even contacted Google services about this but no response, seems they can't fix it or they're just ignoring me.
I don't like pixel.
