Google updated its support page with information regarding new data-only support for tablets on Google’s own MVNO network, Fi. The following devices are ready to active on the Fi network:
It’s safe to say that any tablet compatible with T-Mobile’s network will work on Fi. Due to hardware limitations, and unlike the Nexus phones, tablets on the Fi network will only connect to T-Mobile’s network for data.
The cost will be the same as the smartphone data plans: $10/GB. The good news is there isn’t a base charge for maintaining a line like the phones have. You can go a whole month without using data and you will be charged $0.
As a final note, it looks like the only way to activate a tablet onto your Fi account is by adding it to an existing line. You must already have an active Fi account before you can add any of the above devices to your plan.
In Sri lanka too we have some cheap options for data. I used Dialog network. $1.39 (199 LKR) for 2GB data. Also for my home (wifi) I use SLT network. $10.45 (1500 LKR) for 40GB per month. For heavy downloads I use Dialog's time-based pack...
