Garmin Smartwatches

The new Garmin Forerunner 935 is a GPS-enabled smartwatch with advanced tracking features for your complex exercise routine - running, sprinting, swimming, biking, even triathlons are covered by this $500 watch.

Its lightweight shell (49g) keeps out of the way and the battery lasts up to 2 weeks in watch mode. You can change the QuickFit bands from the silicone ones to dressier leather or metal in between training.

The battery lasts a full 24 hours in GPS tracking mode, so even if you go for a run every day, you will not have to charge the watch that often. And you’ll get tons of data in the mean time.

Onboard sensors include a heart rate monitor (you’ll need an external one for swimming, though), a barometer/altimeter and a compass. Runners will appreciate cadence, contact time balance, stride length and other measurements provided by the Garmin app. VO2 Max can be estimated too.

The app tracks your exercise routine on two time frames. One compares this week’s performance to last week, the other tracks your routine during the day. The watch will let you know when you need to take a break or get off your behind.

If you’re into biking and accessorizing, the Garmin Forerunner 935 is compatible with the Varia line (which includes smart bike lights, the Google Glass-like Varia Vision and more).

The watch alone will cost $500, the Tri-bundle is $650. That includes HRM-TRI and HRM-Swim monitors plus a Quick release kit.

Is fenix 3 a capable watch? Of course. But please, do your home work before making these claims. https://www.dcrainmaker.com/2017/03/garmin-forerunner-935-depth-review.html
