According to a source close that spoke to Korean publication TheElec, Samsung is once again betting on a single-chip strategy for its upcoming foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6.
This report refutes earlier leaks suggesting Samsung is finally implementing the dual-chip strategy with its foldable handsets. However, it is quick to point out that the decision to go for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip instead of mixing it with the Exynos 2400 has nothing to do with performance concerns, and it has everything to do with cost-effectiveness.
Developing a device using two different platforms, in this case, the Exynos 2400 and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, requires more resources for both development and after-sales support. Samsung seems to have done the math and concluded that it won't sell enough units to offset the added cost of going the dual-chip route.
That's not to say Samsung is expecting poor sales. Tha Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip lineups are gaining momentum with each year, but relative popularity compared to the Galaxy S series is still low.
In addition, Roland Quandt shared a set of case renders showing the Galaxy Z Flip6 and Z Fold6 designs, which doesn't add anything new to the already existing specs sheet, but he believes the case renders come from a reputable company further adding credibility to the images.
So, Toyota is better than Rolls Royce after all? Bcuz Toyota has more sales, which means they have a better product than Rolls Royce. And Rolls Royce is inferior because it has lower sales than Toyota. If you want to make an argument, at least ...
Looks like sales number is sensitive topic for chinese brand fans 🤣 Good. This is exactly why i talked about sales number. More inferior product = lower sales. Better product = bettwr sales. End of story.
Some people are still in Helifurnace X times in their heads I see, they haven't seen dimensity 9300.
