Exclusive look at the iQOO 11, coming in either white vegan leather or matte black glass

The iQOO 11 will be officially unveiled tomorrow, but we can offer you an exclusive sneak peek today – here is a close look at the exterior of the phone, the materials used and how they were machined to achieve the final result.

The Legend edition goes for the BMW Motorsport look, a product of the cooperation between iQOO and the German motorsport brand. The curious thing about the three strips is that they are engraved with a Clous de Paris pattern, a type of guilloché usually found on expensive mechanical watches that consists of small pyramid-like squares.

The body features fiberglass backing covered with vegan leather. The leather has a Lychee pattern, which is meant to emulate the texture of full grain leather. iQOO also gave it a stain-resistant coating – stains on white background are really noticeable, so this was the practical choice.

An exclusive look at the iQOO 11 Legend Edition

As for the fiberglass underneath, it has been reworked to be stronger and more durable than previous iQOO phones so that it is better at protecting the phone from drop damage.

The alternative look for the IQOO 11 is the Alpha edition. It goes the more traditional route and covers the back with AG glass (a type of matte, silky finish). The glass has been engraved to give it a soft-touch texture, it’s black and the metal of the camera island has been painted darker to match.
