It's cheap so don't expect much. Ok phone If you are not heavy user. Browsing is fine and Pokemon go etc can be played. Camera needs good daylight to be useful. Install Open camera free app. No ads.

I have had my Cubot P80 for about 2 years now. I got it for some $150 including local taxes. Never been as happy with the build quality of a phone before - it is very durable and has the most tacticle buttons I've experienced on a smartphone. I have had three minor annoyances to date:
1. After about 1-1.5 years, my front camera got a moisture build-up and is now very blurry. It gets really humid where I live, I suppose some humidity crept through the upper grill.
2. The location of the power button and volume down button make me often accidentally take screenshots when pressing the power button
3. Some European SIM cards have slow data connectivity
The screen is solid and snappy, the camera surprisingly clear for the price point, and the performance satisfactory. Having NFC is a huge plug. Overall, very happy with only minor annoyances. I wouldn't recommend it for $150 in 2025 as it has no 5G and the chipset is aging, but it's definitely worth it at a discounted rate, and was absolutely worth it back in 2023 when I bought it.

This is my 3rd Cubot phone. I have a P60, P80 and Note 50 and they are truly the best of the best, affordable, good quality and overall just excellent in everything!

I'm ordering my P80 this month.

I'm still using the cubot note 20 for nearly 3yrs and still loving it,but my next phone is the p80,my last 5 mobiles have been cubot,value for money in my opinion 👍

After being disappointed with the last two mobile phones with one being a fake "Android 12" device and the other with a fake everything you can think of and they both did the same thing, they refused to boot up eventually, the last one informed me it only had Android 7 installed and constantly required re-setting, I decided to get this phone.
It arrived quite quickly and once charged up I decided to set it up, it took me less than 30 minutes to get it going and downloading my backups from Google. It then upgraded the Android system twice over the next 24 hours and it didn't skip a beat. Over the few days I have had it it hasn't refused to install any app I have thrown at it. The number of sensors onboard is more than I expected and the battery life is great. The screen quality and resolution, the onboard cameras and build are better than expected for phones in this price range, it hasn't given me any problems whatsoever and I'm quite pleased with my purchase.
It does have one annoying fault though and that is the positioning of the Volume control, I have managed to train myself to hold it further down in my hand so I don't keep adjusting the volume each time I pick it up.

Bought the phone straight when it came out (June'23), with quite a discount (around $100). After now almost a year, the phone is very good for its price. Responsive, no overheating, still got the original screen and what not. So maybe let's come to the more annoying things. The default camera app doesn't provide an option to attach GPS coordinates. I talked to the support, they're aware of it but won't provide an update to fix it. So this is my only big downside. Don't expect any support in case of issues. That being said. I didn't notice any hard issues. Sure, in the summer outside it's more tricky to see something but ye... it was 100 bucks. The battery seems still pretty strong. For reference, just held a video call for 3 hours over telegram before the battery died out. Try to see how far you get with your current phone and you get a reference. Ah ye regarding the camera quality. Yea don't expect fancy images. If you're not a Instagram person, and just need some good holiday pictures, this will do just fine. As typical with these phones, choosing another camera app, drastically reduces the quality (that's why the initial issue is quite annoying)

Your money can be better spent elsewhere

The display panel is the best and also the battery last a whole day if you keep stuffing the internet from morning till evening... But will last for 5days is u do not stuff the internet at all....the phone is what am using... I love it

Zuzu06, 27 Aug 2023Please can the camera quality of this phone be compared to that of an iphone?No, the iPhone will be better in end image quality even though the resolutions are the same due to image processing and better sensor quality, and plus the iPhone has an ultrawide lens and the pro has a 2x (7 Plus - 14 Pro) 3x (15 Pro) and 5x (15 Pro max), so iPhone has better cameras by far.
