OpenAI’s latest image generator has thinking capabilities. ChatGPT Images 2.0 arrives one year after version 1.0, and it promises expertly curated end-to-end automation for visual tasks. Images 2.0 has the ability to research and synthesize information from the web into detailed “production-level” visuals.

OpenAI is positioning Images 2.0 as a full replacement for dedicated image editing apps, too, as it can remove backgrounds, transform aspect ratios and output up to eight images simultaneously in 2K resolution.

Images 2.0 excels at generating infographics and diagrams with drastically improved fidelity across a wider variety of languages. It is also said to be better at following prompt instructions and preserving requested details.
Images 2.0 is available to all ChatGPT users, while the “Images with thinking” mode is exclusive to Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise tier plans.

An AI only does what it was programmed for. What defines "thinking" is that one can develop ideas and thoughts without predefined Q&A mechanisms and commands. You think without necessarily knowing anything about what you are going to ...
The dialogue and action in the comic panels seemed more forced than a turkey at the box office... and I've seen some really bad clunkers. 😬
