The Miami-based smartphone manufacturer BLU has launched a new smartphone. Dubbed R1 Plus, the device is powered by MediaTek MT6737 SoC, and sports a 5.5-inch HD display. RAM options include 2GB and 3GB, while storage options include 16GB and 32GB.
The handset features a 13MP main camera and an 8MP front shooter. Measuring 153 x 76.6 x 10.5mm and weighing in at 190g, the R1 Plus runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. A large 4,000mAh battery is there to keep the lights on.
As for price, the 3GB variant costs $160, while the 2GB model will set you back $140. The former is listed on Amazon, while the latter is listed on Best Buy (currently out of stock though).
If you want those specs than make your own phone, just because you want something doesn't mean it'll sell well
this is an appalling device to release in 2017. it has to come subsidized with amazon ads to make it even worth buying when a fingerprint scanning 64+ 4gb one x2 can be had for $10 more
Well, considering price to performance, it's not too bad, but mostly for the US customers. Because for abroad, then you have to add another $50 for shipping, handling and import fees, etc. So, then it will become so&so ... But not completely bad,...
