CBiscuit, 28 Feb 2015WTheck? These pieces of sh.. still exist?? You still exist! No surprise...
Excellent move by BB... This phone is made for persons who are on the move...people dealing with sensitive tasks...no cameras hence zero risk for data theft... Long battery life...good encryption and strong massaging capabilities.... Am waiting for one from the UK.
BlackBerry both has Classic Model with and without a camera, buy one that fits your need. For me I will go for the one which has a camera. If you need one that doesn't have a camera go for it, no problem!
Zah, 08 Mar 2015That's a bad move by Blackberry, who on this day and age buy a premium handset without a camer... morefor starters, its an awesome move, i own a BPO, we have a very strict no camera phone policy on the floor, due to data theft issues.
hence considering industries where data can be stolen by photographs its a very sleek move by bb.
also it not for everyday people, it created with a very specific segment in mind.
as some people have said in the comments
for people with real jobs....
Good move. I normaly travelled to areas where cameras are restricted. Well done
Wow!! It is the smart phone, we are waiting for. Many who work in restricted areas suffer without such models.
It is a great move from Black Berry.
Eagerly awaiting to be released in UAE.
I'm sure Apple / Nokia / Samsung will follow suit.
still on keyboard, no camera high price no new invention old processor. No sign to come back. I was bb fan 5 years back but now never.
AnonD-375674, 16 Mar 2015Seriously this is a ridiculous move!.. Who doesn't want a camera? people with dream jobs like, Game Developer, Defence, entertainment, coporate

i think u r not working with in any corrporate sector so u r unable to understand this move of BB
I've been using my 8800, old i know but solid as a brick and you can carry it where a camera is not allowed, and now i can get a 10 os phone , a great idea from BB.
Anonymous, 09 Mar 2015this is for people with real jobs which don't allow camera phone on hot zone. Absolutely right, I am a corporate person that is why I know about it very well.

That's a bad move by Blackberry, who on this day and age buy a premium handset without a camera? It's exactly the similar decision about BBM before WhatsApp take over IM segment chating.
Rest assured sales are gonna be very poor, that's if it will actually sell. I wonder what is Blackberry objective on this one?
Is CDMA available ?
Nice job Blackberry. But please do make this phone available in Indian market. There are many companies here which does not allow us to carry camera phone. Little check on Price also required :)
blackberry has done some great job !
there are 2 type, with and without camera. the camera-less version is very useful for some people who need to bring their phone into some restricted place (e.g. school, lab, library, some company etc)
the only dissapointed thing is its price. why is it so expensive, there is almost no different price between this and the camera version. how much does it cost to buy a lens for phone-camera? is it that cheap?
well, if blackberry put this device to lower price, I'm sure there will be less complains
next phone "BlackBerry Classic Paranoic" with mechanical switch speaker and microphone))))
This is good step by bb.. Targeting specific audiences who badly need a smart phone without camera.. Way to go bb.. Please reconsider the price....
WTheck?
