BlackBerry Classic - user opinions and reviews
This is the phone where the BB OS started to show its age. Essentals like Google Maps or Drive were almost impossible to use without a glitchy work-around.
As much as I love the original BB OS and prefer it over the all-intrusive Android OS--after 2015, it just was not practical to use anymore.
Apart from that, as a Crackberry phan, I loved the keyboard and the str8-up user interface with no bells, whistles or distractions to make you loose focus from the task at hand--WORK.
This was a phone for ADULT PROFESSIONALS. Not gamers or kids who need to take the perfect selfie every 5 minutes.
The call buttons were a welcome addition, but I never made use of the trackpad. I guess it was there as a throwback to the years before touch screens for old-school Crackberry-heads. I just found it cumbersome and inaccurate to use.
The big screen was easy to read books and emails from, and the camera was pretty decent.
As my 2nd BB, I only used it a year and a half before upgrading to a Key1 so I could use Google Maps and other productivity-related programs.

Although the Blackberry Classic was one of the most successful phones produced by Blackberry and as a Blackberry owner and user, I DO NOT RECOMMEND such a phone in 2023.
It is dead, an outdated phone in all respects.

Now I'm thinking of buying a BlackBerry Classic from Alibaba as a second phone just for calls, emails, and messages, and if it works on WhatsApp, it'll be great.
Would you recommend me or can I use this phone now in 2023 in Sweden?
What are the programs that can be used on the phone?

Please, buy a new device.

Jimbobothy , 20 Jul 2022Look up “how to get play store on blackberry classic”You will not get Blackberry Store working. They shut the servers down. Only option is to try sideloading .bar files (possibly) and downloading .apk files.
In 2022, you are very limited to what you can use/do.
